How membership levels work
A membership or VIP programme groups players into levels, usually by how much they deposit or stake over a set period. Each level unlocks different rewards, limits or service, and the rules for moving between levels are part of the programme terms.

Cashback and rebates explained
Cashback returns a percentage of net losses over a period. For example, with 5% weekly cashback, a week in which you lose RM200 overall would return RM10. Check whether cashback is paid as cash or as bonus funds with wagering attached.
A rebate is calculated on turnover rather than losses. For example, a 0.5% rebate on RM2,000 of eligible sports bets would be RM10, paid whether you won or lost. Rebates often exclude some games and bets at very short odds.

Working out what a level really costs
Rewards are usually a small share of what is staked, so it helps to put the two side by side before you aim for a level. Every game has a built-in house edge, which means the expected cost of turnover is normally far larger than the reward attached to it.
As a worked example, suppose a level needs RM20,000 of turnover in a month and pays a 0.5% rebate. The rebate would be RM100. If that turnover is on slots with a return to player of 96%, the expected loss on RM20,000 of stakes is about RM800. The reward softens the cost; it does not cover it.
Expected loss is an average across a very large number of bets, and real sessions can land well above or below it. The point of the calculation is not to predict a result but to show that a level is a by-product of play you would do anyway, not a reason to play more.
