What DuitNow is

DuitNow is a Malaysian real-time transfer service that lets you send money using an ID such as a mobile number, or by scanning a DuitNow QR code. It works from many bank and e-wallet apps.

Seeing DuitNow on this page does not mean Siti88 accepts it; check the cashier for the methods offered to your account.

Paying with a DuitNow QR

If the cashier offers a DuitNow QR, the flow generally looks like this.

  1. Choose DuitNow in the cashier and enter the amount in MYR.
  2. Open your banking or e-wallet app and select the scan option.
  3. Scan the QR code shown on screen.
  4. Check the recipient name and amount before approving.
  5. Return to the site and confirm the deposit appears in history.

Checks before you approve

A DuitNow payment is hard to reverse once approved, so take a moment over the confirmation screen.

  • The recipient name matches what the cashier told you to expect
  • The amount is exactly what you entered on the site
  • Any reference the cashier asked for is included
  • The QR code came from the cashier page, not from a chat message

Worked example

Say you enter RM50 in the cashier and a QR appears. Your bank app shows a recipient name you do not recognise. Stop there: cancel the payment and contact support to confirm the expected name before trying again.

If something goes wrong

Keep the transaction reference from your bank app. If the deposit does not show, the payment help page explains how to match the reference with your account history.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is a DuitNow QR the same every time?

Not necessarily. Many cashiers generate a fresh code per payment, so scan the one shown for your current deposit rather than a saved image.

Can DuitNow be used for withdrawals?

Only if the cashier lists it as a withdrawal option. Deposit and withdrawal methods are often different.

Someone sent me a DuitNow QR to top up my account. Is that fine?

No. Only use a QR generated in the official cashier. Codes sent by individuals can direct money to anyone.
